New Moving From Emotion to Evidence: Join Our 50-Sensor Noise Mapping Pilot Post
At No More Noise, we love data. Why? Because when noise pollution disrupts our sleep and impacts our health, we can feel deeply frustrated, which is completely valid. However, to city officials, negative feedback can easily be dismissed as just an "emotional complaint."
Data changes the game. By collecting hard, objective evidence, we strip the emotion from the dialogue and give policymakers numbers they can no longer ignore.
Now, you can help us map the noise. We are partnering with a brilliant team of volunteer builders to launch a groundbreaking pilot program featuring tRacket—a small, inexpensive, community-led noise sensor.
How it works:
Simple Setup: You mount the small sensor outside your home on a window or wall. It tracks ambient sound levels and sends the data to the cloud via your home Wi-Fi.
100% Private: Your privacy is ensured. The device does not record audio. It only measures decibel levels.
You Control the Map: You choose where your PIN shows within a geographic bubble, keeping your exact address anonymous.
We are rolling out our first 50 sensors for this study, and we want you to be a part of it.

Let’s stop just enduring the noise, and start measuring it.
