Concert Season Is Still Here: Help Us Track Noise from Rogers Stadium
Summer concert season is still going strong at Rogers Stadium, and No More Noise is continuing to collect community experiences through our Rogers Stadium Community Log.
Since the venue began hosting concerts at the former Downsview Airport lands, residents in surrounding communities have raised concerns about concert noise travelling well beyond the stadium itself. Reports have included persistent music and low-frequency bass that can be heard and felt inside people's homes.
Despite changes made to the venue ahead of the 2026 concert season to help reduce sound transmission, community concerns have continued this summer.
With more major concerts still ahead, we want to keep documenting what people are experiencing.
Why We're Collecting This Data
Noise can be difficult to understand through individual complaints alone.
When many people report their experiences in one place, however, we can begin to see a much clearer picture: Where is the sound being heard? How far is it travelling? When is it most disruptive?
That's why No More Noise created the Rogers Stadium Community Log.
The survey gives people an easy way to document their experience during concert events, while allowing us to map reports across the surrounding area.
Each submission becomes another data point that can help us better understand the community impact of amplified sound from the venue.
Your Reports Can Help Inform What Happens Next
This information is particularly important now.
In June, Toronto City Council directed the City Manager to work with Live Nation to retain an independent acoustics engineer or sound expert to review Rogers Stadium's physical layout and identify potential improvements and technologies that could reduce sound dispersal, including bass, into neighbouring communities.
Community-generated data can add another important layer to that conversation by showing what residents are actually experiencing beyond the stadium grounds.
This isn't about opposing concerts or live music.
It's about finding ways for major events and surrounding communities to coexist, while recognizing that people should still be able to rest and enjoy their homes.
Hearing a Concert From Home? Log It.
If you can hear or feel noise from a Rogers Stadium concert where you live, we want to hear about your experience.
Whether you're directly beside the venue or several kilometres away, adding your experience to the Community Log helps us build a more complete picture of how sound is travelling across the region.
And if you've already participated, thank you. Every report helps strengthen the dataset.
